According to the Pennsylvania Client Placement Criteria, a person is eligible for halfway house services based on the following criteria:
Admission Criteria
Six Dimensions: Detoxification and withdrawal; medical
Halfway House Level 2B criteria must meet dimension 3 and
two of dimensions 4, 5, 6:
Dimension 3 - emotional behavioral conditions and complications
Dimension 4 - treatment acceptance/resistance
Dimension 5 - relapse potential
Dimension 6 - recovery environment
Continued Stay Criteria
Same six dimensions and categories; must meet at a minimum 2B criteria in dimensions 3 and all of 5 & 6.
