Eligibility for Services

Eligibility for Halfway House services funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, either through the Single County Authority (SCA) system or Healthchoices (Pennsylvania's managed care system for Medicaid), is based on the Pennsylvania Client Placement Criteria. Individuals may also self pay and most facilities offer a sliding fee based on income and an ability to pay for those not eligible for the SCA's or Medical Assistance's funding.
